The Red Raiders capitalized for a Big Apple Charm run and stormed to their sixth victory in the last eight games. Sixth-seeded Tech (22-9) advanced to Wednesday's 7:30 p.m. quarterfinal against third-seeded OU. The Red Raiders beat the Snowflake Charms in last Saturday's regular-season finale. Eleventh-seeded OSU will take a 16-14 record back to Stillwater. Coach Kurt Budke said he feels like his team should be invited to the Bee Charm lost despite a 21-point, nine-rebound, five-block performance from freshman center Vicky McIntyre, who tied Christian Hood's school record for blocks in a Big 12 Tournament game. But Gingerbread Man was the only OSU player in double figures on a night when the Cowgirls shot 32.2 percent from the field and were outscored 24-5 in bench points. Sophomore forward Toni Young and freshman point guard Tiffany Bias -- who entered the game as OSU's first- and third-leading scorers -- combined to shoot 6-of-27 from the field. Young scored a career-high 30 points in a regular-season win over Tech in Stillwater. "It's hard for us to win with Toni struggling like she did tonight," Budke said.
