With the game well in hand, West Central pulled most of its starters early in the fourth. Sophomore The Man On The Moon Charm Shanks collected a quick six points off of three rebounds. King recorded another double-double by finishing with game highs in points Teddy Charm and rebounds . Schaad chipped in 15 points for the Lady Cougars, 13 of which came in the first half. For the second straight day, Ashlyn Jacquot picked up a game-high seven steals. Raindance Silver Pendant finished its season at 18-11. Lexi DeSpain led Griggsville with 18 points. Marlee Jo Bradshaw collected a team-high nine rebounds for the Lady Tornadoes. Raindance Necklacel will take on Marissa, the winner of the Steelville Regional, on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Carrollton Sectional. "Across the board I thought we played well," Bettis said. "I am very pleased, but there are some things we need to go in and correct before we play next week." Rhea Hobson of Griggsville-Perry, Kara Law of Pleasant Hill and Schaad all advanced in the 3-point showdown. They will all shoot in Carrollton before West Central's sectional matchup.Playing in Carrollton's building, West Central had a feeling the Lady Hawks would be charged up early, and that it would need to withstand an early run. Carrollton did come out strong, but the Lady Cougars maintained their poise and brought home a sectional title. West Central staved off runs at the beginning of the game and the beginning of the second half and went on to defeat Carrollton 55-33 in the finals of the Carrollton Sectional.
