Feb. 21--Two people are in custody after law enforcement officials say they robbed a neighbor over the weekend. Ryder Lee Padrick, 29, and Scottie Charm, both of Roberts Rd, Lighthouse Way Mobile Home Park in Newport, were arrested by the Carteret County Sheriff's Office and charged with first-degree burglary, injury to property, Pink Heart Charm Signature Necklace resisting, obstructing and delaying officers in connection with the burglary. Padrick and Mason startled the residents of another home within the park when the two forced open the door and entered, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. The residents of that home knew Padrick and Mason and identified them entering the home, according to the release.
