Treatment groups included 0, 5, 10, and 20 minute dips Tiffany Elsa Peretti Sevillana Mesh bracelet an aqueous hypochlorite solution containing 10 to 13 percent available chlorine followed by 0, 5, 10, or 20 minutes of intense light exposure from a Xenon arc lamp. All of the bleached coupons were rinsed with distilled water from a spray bottle after dip treatment, as were unbleached controls, and placed immediately in an Atlas Weather-Ometer with a 65 watt Xenon lamp with inner and outer quartz filters used as a source of intense light. Tiffany Atlas of the exposed coupons were placed 15 cm from the lamp to maximize intensity, without overheating. Coupons were left at room temperature for at least 1 week after treatment to stabilize. All of the coupons were then rescanned and L*, a*, and b* measurements were repeated at 10 points on the test face of each coupon. Each sample was also analyzed at Tiffany Elsa Peretti Sevillana ring locations by visiblenear infrared (NIR) spectroscopy using an ASD Labspec 5000 (ASD, Boulder, Colorado). Spectra were obtained from 350 to 2500 nm with a resolution of 1 nm. A Spectralon reference baseline was scanned every 30 minutes. Spectra from each treatment group (three samples by six spectra per sample) were averaged using Grams AI (ThermoFisher Scientific, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania).
