She was born Sept. 3, 1951 in Forest, Miss., and educated in the Detroit Public Schools. She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Tiffany; parents, Grace and Fulton Holifield; sisters, Ylean, Lois and Kimberle; brothers, Roderick, Dannie and Jerry; and many others. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery.
