Florida law grants local school boards the right to require school uniforms, and an increasing Prom Dresses 2011 are exercising that option, or at least talking about it. Polk County adopted mandatory uniforms for elementary and middle school students more than a decade ago, one of the first in the nation to do so. The Alachua County school district will do the same starting in August, and Volusia County and Pinellas County schools are discussing, or will soon. The Lake County School Board may adopt uniforms for the 2012-13 school year. Lee Middle in Orlando and Idyllwilde Elementary in Sanford, for example, are to join those ranks next school year.
